In the challenging and exhausting early weeks after giving birth, many new mothers suffer from mood instability. These "baby blues" are often dismissed as a normal part of birth recovery. Because these hormonal fluctuations eventually tend to regulate themselves, women are left to try to cope on their own. With placenta encapsulation, this does not have to be the case.
Placenta encapsulation is an organic and natural way to encourage holistic postpartum wellness and recovery. Although rapidly gaining in popularity, this is not a new trend. The placenta has been used in traditional Chinese medicine, as well as other countries and cultures, for hundreds of years. Because the placenta is full of essential feel-good hormones, it has long been considered to be an essential support component for women in their healing journeys after birth.
Some women have reported that the benefits of placenta encapsulation may include:
What does the placenta contain?
"Where is it encapsulated? I don't want it prepared in my home!"
We have heard your feedback! Many of you do not want your placenta prepared in your home. We understand, and you now have the choice to decide where your placenta is prepared; in your home, or in our designated workshop. Either way, you can be assured that the strictest OSHA guidelines and safety and cleanliness measures are being followed in the preparation.
All of our equipment for encapsulating your placenta is dedicated for use in this process, and is thoroughly cleaned and sterilized with each use. We use a professional grade dehydrator. The equipment used to prepare your placenta is either disposable one-time-use or sanitized between placentas using a 1:10 bleach soak and boiling water wash per FDA guidelines
We are trained and certified in blood-borne pathogen safety and ensure that sterilization and safety measures are met.
Strict OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness are followed in the preparation.
