The Mothership believes in the strength of community and the empowerment that comes from building connections within our community. We offer several community groups that are open to the public and free of charge. We also maintain Asheville Mothership blog, Transmissions from The Mothership podcast, and The Mothership Community Facebook group as part of our virtual community.

NICU Parents CircleIf your baby is still in the NICU, you're figuring out things at home, or you would like to spend time with others who understand, join us to share experiences, connection, and community. We know that having a baby in the NICU is different from what most parents expect, and finding support is important. Come as you are; we get it. FREE, 1st Monday of the month, 6pm.

La Leche League meetingsLa Leche League of Buncombe County (Asheville) is a non profit organization that is affiliated with La Leche League USA. La Leche League has a 60 year history of support breastfeeding mothers with accurate information and support. Meetings are always free and open to all pregnant people and breastfeeding parents and little ones. (Free. 1st Thursday of the month at 10am)
